What drivers have written

“This hotel advertises a Tesla Destination Charger as open and available 24 hours. It is publicly listed on Google Maps and clearly branded as a Tesla charger. Based on that representation, I arrived briefly to charge. What I found was not some premium amenity. The charger itself is a piece of junk. It is visibly worn and missing components, which already makes it questionable whether it should be advertised at all. If you’re going to list EV charging as an amenity, at least maintain the equipment instead of leaving a half-functional unit bolted to the wall. Instead of staff calmly clarifying any policy, hotel management immediately escalated the situation in the most aggressive way possible. There was no visible signage indicating the charger was restricted to hotel guests only, yet I was treated like I was trespassing for using infrastructure they actively advertise. Rather than simply asking me to leave, staff called the police. Yes, police, over a broken destination charger. I left immediately when informed, but the decision to escalate straight to law enforcement says everything about how this place is run. Their so-called “resolution” makes it even worse. After all of this, the hotel suggested charging $30 per day to use this charger. Thirty dollars a day to use a poorly maintained, incomplete destination charger they already advertise as open and available. That’s not a resolution. That’s an attempted cash grab. If this charger is not intended for public use, it should not be advertised as such. If it is intended for guests only, that needs to be clearly posted instead of relying on intimidation and police calls. And if you’re going to charge premium fees, the equipment should at least be intact and functional. Tesla owners and EV drivers should avoid this place entirely” — Matt CHANEY (TRUSTYS), 7 months ago

“Gave 5 stars because of the guy who thought this was public use and gave this place a headache.” — zeebo ruelas, 2 months ago

“I think it's pretty awesome that there's a Tesla charger here. I believe EVs are the future. I only gave this 4 stars because the parking spot is pretty tight, and sort of hard to get into.” — Roger Freeman, 6 years ago
