“Really appreciate Rivian installing EV chargers at this beach parking. Charge while relaxing by the ocean. Exactly how it should be. You do need to download the Rivian app in advance, create an account, and add a payment method. Verizon doesn’t get signal at the chargers, so save the charger number ahead of time. “So I read the review on here and it says that the local guide had a Kia car the same with mine I have the Kia Soul EV but somehow I could not download the app on my Android phone. It says the app is not compatible with my phone so I called customer service with Vivian and they said there's nothing they can do they aren't even sure if they could give me a courtesy charge. “Uh they are FREE????!!!! Ok so i am renting an EV for the first time ever (a Kia Niro) and staying in Stinson beach. Had to find a charger and these were conveniently right nearby. This is my first time ever charging an EV but I assume chargers are not usually free? Anyway I plugged in my car after spending like 10 mins trying to find the "open EV flap" button only to find you have to push the flap in lol. I plugged the car in and it said it was charging for free! CRAZY! Anyway. 5/5 stars for free charging. Great value. There are four charging plugs.
