“Pulled up to Canadian Tire to charge at the station on the left (the right one was in use) with 30% battery life on the way to Lucan. Downloaded the app, applied $25 credit to my account through my Apple Pay, plugged in. Tried 2 times to get a start to my charge to no avail. The person on the right arrived to retrieve their vehicle and I asked about help and it was recommended to call the help line which I did. The person on the phone told me the steps to getting to the point of a charge as follows: 1. select charge on the app for the station that I was at 2. Plug in my auto until you hear the click 3. It should start automatically IT DIDNT!!! Then she told me she would reboot the station that I was at which should work. I didn’t for 3 more times. So, the woman on the phone for Flo said my car probably doesn’t have enough charge so I need to move to a different station and charge it there and then come back to this one to complete my charge as required! I said I don’t think so! None of the other plugs would fit my car except the one that the other vehicle just left. I moved my car to that space and went to tell the person on the phone what I was doing, are you there! She had hung up! I followed the same steps and lo and behold!, my auto began to charge! Yippie! So I managed to use up the $25 plus $4.56 more for 1.5 hours giving me 50% more battery life. I’m new at this but I’m definitely not impressed at the lack of service of these stations. If it’s broke, FIX IT! Don’t leave it there for someone next to find it isn’t working.” — Bean, a year ago
