“KSEB really needs to improve its EV charging infrastructure. When the charging stations were first introduced, I used to depend on the one in Alappuzha. Over time, it went offline and has stayed that way for nearly two years. Later, during a visit to Thiruvananthapuram, I tried the station at Muttada and found the same issue. Now this station too seems to be no different. Out of curiosity, I called the customer care center. The lady on the other side was genuinely helpful, but she informed me that both charging stations in Thiruvalla have also been disconnected. This makes me wonder why such redundant assets are still being kept in place. If there are no plans to restore or operate them properly, they should be permanently removed or officially decommissioned. Leaving them there in a non-functional state only reflects poor planning, weak maintenance, and lack of accountability. “We recently charged our Nexon EV and had a pleasant experience. We used chargeMod app to top-up and charge. The app is convenient and accurate.
