“I've had my Ev for over 2 yrs now and this is the fastest charger I've ever used. The other ones say 350kw/400kw but they lag your kw (while also charging you full price). This is the only charging station where my car gets ro charge at its max speed.” — J E, 2 months ago

“Every few weeks I’m driving from upstate NY to Atlantic City and often stop for food and bathroom so I want to plug in and get a little charge. I’ve been using the Two chargers each with one NACS plug and one CCS plug. One issue is that one of the CCS plugs in in a handicap spot. There is a sign that says “Reserved Parking” with a handicap logo and a sign under that that says “Penalty $200 first offence and $250 minimum and up to 90 days of community service for repeat offenders. Tow away zone”. Other EV charging places have signs that say “This spot should be the last used spot”. I like their chargers. There are not enough of them. If the chargers are full here, I head to the Larry Doby Service Area which also has two chargers in the same 2 NACS and 2 CCS setup. They support Plug and Charge on our car making charging easy. In NJ they are charging $0.40kW which is a great price. If you use their app you are charged $0.35 but $0.40 if you use plug and charge. It’s not clear that you pay extra to use plug and charge. Applegreen on the NY Thruway the price is $0.64kW…wow. Applegreen has a monopoly on the NJ Turnpike, GSP, NY State Thruway and now the Mass Pike and PA. I don’t know if anyone can put pressure on Applegreen to expand their charging ports and fix the handicap sign issue. As for the service areas Applegreen has beautiful buildings with a good selection of food and always clean bathrooms.” — Bill, a year ago
