“I was beyond disappointed with how much it cost to charge an electric car. I don’t know if this is just a San Francisco pricing issue, but the same type of charge in Florida would’ve cost me half the price. Charging the car from 20% to 80% ended up costing me $30 which, in my opinion, is absolutely ridiculous. At that point, I’d rather stick with a gas car next time. Spending $30 to charge an electric vehicle defeats the whole purpose of cost savings. On top of that, the mileage on the Chevrolet I was driving was terrible, and it took nearly an hour just to complete the charge. The process itself wasn’t user-friendly either it took time to figure out how everything worked. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. It’s not as convenient or functional as I expected.
