“Absolutely abysmal experience at the BC Hydro charging station in the Save-On-Foods parking lot on Vernon Ave. The left charger is completely broken and utterly useless. To make matters worse, the CHAdeMO charger on the right is incredibly unreliable—it constantly drops and ends the charging session for absolutely no reason. It is extremely frustrating to constantly have to hunt for working chargers on Vancouver Island that don't have ridiculously long wait times. I am sick and tired of dealing with this severely lacking infrastructure. Honestly, experiences like this make me vow to never buy an electric car again until there is a massive improvement in the number of reliable fast chargers.
