What drivers have written
“Nice place to stop and charge convenient to I-40. Gas station with restroom was a short walk away (maybe 5 minutes) and a Bojangles close to that. There were also trash cans (Nice to have after eating at Bojangles)! Not busy for a Saturday in the summer (around 5 PM). I had no waiting (only one or two other vehicles charging the 30-40 minutes that I was there).” — Andrew, 5 years ago
“Place was alright, expected charge speed, few places to eat nearby. Gas station is about a 5 minute walk if you need drinks and snacks. Place is a tad bit too secluded from civilization.” — Peige Zhang, 6 years ago
“Good and bad. The good is they aren't far from a gas station, a Bojangles, and a few other things. You can walk there in 5-minutes. The bad is these are 150 w chargers. The other good is I've never been where they are full. I've never even been when they are half full. Now for the bad: these are 150 w chargers. You can get 250 watt chargers about 30 minutes west of here on I40 that are in a Smithfield's parking lot. If you have the time and don't mind a little walk for the restroom and some fast food, or want to sit down nicer meal, these are fine. If you want things closer to the charger, or want to get out of there quicker, I'd head West for the newer chargers. Both of them are equally convenient to the freeway. These are across the street from the mad boar hotel and restaurant. The food there is pretty good, and they have great service and an interesting atmosphere. They get pretty busy during the holidays.” — Stan Hannen, a year ago
