“While dining at a restaurant on site, I noted the on-site Charge Point charging stations; decided to charge my Prius Prime just to see how outside charging works; (I knew I didn’t need much charge); was happy that I got plug to work; turns out this station only worked for 8 seconds & then turned off; but then I got receipt for $1.80 for ‘zero energy added’; when I called customer support, was told the site bills a $1 per hour ‘parking charge’ in addition to any cost of electricity ( btw, parking on-site is free!); Anyway, I feel this is a rip-off to charge for ‘parking’ in a free parking garage; customer service is reversing the $1.80 but I want folks to know about this money making scam?” — cec chang, 7 years ago
