What drivers have written
“Very fast DC charging. Lots of parking space options. Also includes level 2 charging if you're not in a hurry.” — Todd Steif, 6 months ago
“Just a bit on the pricey side and there's no place within an easy walk to get a bite to eat while waiting. CCS Charged Chevy Bolt 50% to 80% in about 20 minutes. All this said it's easy to find and very welcome as possibly the only one along the U.S. 10 corridor between Custer (MREA) and the Fox Valley. Secure location just across from the Waupaca County Law Enforcement Center.” — Gregg Warren, a year ago
“First, the good: it works. It’ll charge your car. The not so good: it’s very slow, but it’s the only option in town for a Tesla unless you want to drive 35 minutes to Steven’s Point. I probably should have done that. We’re at a cottage on vacation outside of Waupaca, and we needed to top up to get back home in a few days. It is charging at a rate of 6 kW, which is slower than at home level 2 charging. It’s stated on Google map to have a much higher 19kW rate. Alas. Maybe the dealership it’s located at draws a lot of power during the day time. It will take 2.5 hours to go from 43% to 70% and is looming to cost about $5 if I stop at two hours of charging. After 2 hours, there is a $10/hr connection fee. Yuck. Kind of a scam with such a slllooowwww charger. If you have another connector/charging type (CCS), there is a super charger adjacent to it. Alas, I’m using a a J1772 adapter for the Tesla. There isn’t anything nearby. But there is a nice cafe Rose Garden about a 7 minute walk away. Closer to 30 minute walk to get downtown. It is what it is. The knock in the rating is for the ridiculous $10/hour connection charge after the first two hours. I should probably get a mobile connector to charge where I’m staying for these rare circumstances.” — Jesse Carlson, a year ago
