“EV Station is working (10/13/2023). It is in the parking lot of a Comfort Inn. There is a gas station store with bathrooms about 100 yards away. FYI: The charger and my Leaf showed that it charged to 93% but the miles only showed 177, once I left the station the miles went up and up until they reached 212, which was correct. I guess with the fast charge the car was able to keep up with the percentage of charge, but the miles needed time to catch up.” — Victoria H, 2 years ago

“Saved by a Chargepoint J1772 charging station in Weed, CA! Returning from a Seattle Thanksgiving roadtrip, we didn’t have enough battery to reach the 16 stall Supercharger at Mt Shasta. A 45 minute wait for a chain check and excessive power drain from climbing, strong winds, and low temperatures left us in a bind. Luckily, this station saved us in snow blizzard conditions. Thank you, Chargepoint! The charge rate was slow at 17 mph on a Tesla MX at 30A/200V (vs 400 mph at a Supercharger), but we didn’t care.
