“Doesn’t work, and when it did work, it only produced 2 kWh. If you look at their terms of service, they literally tell you in Section 6 under “Non-Refundable Payments” that if they charge your credit card and you don’t receive any service or, in this case, energy, you forfeit your right to a refund. There is no warranty or guarantee that anything will work—just read it for yourself. They also disclose a predatory rate of $0.45 per kWh and then have an 11% network fee, which is unconscionable because you must disclose the price that will be charged in terms of dollars. You can’t ask people to sit there with a calculator and figure out how much something will cost, especially when what they pay may end up being nothing at all. It’s these bad actors that are going to cause the federal government to swoop down and start highly regulating the industry like they did with gas stations.
