“I have had an EV now for 4 years. I initially only had Electrify America as my only fast charging option in Rancho Santa Margarita for about 2 years. The experience was horrible. Half the chargers were always broken. The app was a horribly unreliable mess. Then a brand new EVGo was installed in RSM... With EVGo the experience has been flawless for the past 2 years. I have avoided Electrify America like the plague due to past experiences. Now today August 2026, I tried an EA charging location in Murietta. 2 YEARS LATER, the app is still a horrible mess. I understand the initial bugs of a new system, but I'm now 4 years into having an EV. This should not be the case anymore. EA has had plenty of time to get their act together.
