“There's room for improvement. For all EV drivers: make sure to check that the charger port will disengage (unlatch) from the station before trying to pay. If it won't unlatch, try another one. I could have saved tons of time (and frozen fingers) had I known I chose the ONE that was stuck. Because there's no overhang (like there are at gas stations) there may be tons of snow around the chargers where you have to stand to use your phone to engage with the system. Some snow mitigation for the Direct area around the station would be helpful. And a garbage can wouldn't hurt, too. I couldn't get a credit card to work, though that looked like an option on the screen. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The EV connect app has issues. But I'll leave that feedback for the app developers. For drivers: know that if it's cold out, try to find a warm place to get the app first before standing in the snow trying to get the charge to start. Overall I'm happy that I got a charge after some trial and error and I will use them again if I'm traveling through to Buffalo, though I don't know what the final cost was for my charge today.
