Price was higher than average, made worse by requiring you use your phone. The advertised price on the charger was 5 cents cheaper if you swipe a card, but there is no card swipe. “Yes, there’s no credit card swipe, but there is a QR code that you scan, enter your email for a receipt, and then can use Apple Pay or card quite easily. “The screen instructions refer to a credit card reader, but no such readers installed. You must use the Monta app, which for some reason tries to walk you through a home charger setup. Look for the somewhat obscure QR code icon in the app to scan the code on the charger.
