The Charging Setup Capacity: The main lot features 40 stalls. Keep an eye out when pulling in: the outer edge features the faster V3 250 kW chargers, while the interior rows host the older V2 150 kW chargers. Solar Canopy: Almost all the stalls are covered by a massive solar array, providing much-needed shade from the brutal Central Valley sun while feeding clean energy back into the grid. Ease of Access: Several stalls are configured as drive-thru style, which is a massive win if you are towing a small trailer or just hate backing up. There is also an expanded overflow layout right down the street near In-N-Out. The Dedicated Tesla Lounge What truly sets Kettleman City apart is the private indoor customer lounge. To get in, your car’s navigation screen displays a dynamic access code when you arrive. Amenities: Inside, you'll find arguably the cleanest, nicest roadside restrooms on the I-5 corridor. Food & Drink: The lounge features premium coffee service (complete with fun Tesla-themed menus like the extra espresso shot "Ludicrous Mode"), vending machines, and comfortable indoor seating with plenty of charging ports for your devices. “This is the nicest charging station I've ever been to. They have a Tesla Lounge (code in your app to access) and it's nice and cool inside with several places to sit and wait while you charge. The bathrooms are super clean and both have a baby changing station. They have several vending machines as well. There's a couch area as well as several desktop seating areas. There are also picnic benches outside for sitting/eating. This place is really plush and inviting and wasn't too busy. It's very clean inside as well. “A lot of open stalls. Fast charging. We drove down from Oregon and this was the first salon we stopped at. Everything was clean. One thing that was odd was the bathroom stalls were not installed well and not aligned. Also some of the sinks were never fully finished. But there were vending machines and places to sit.
