“During our early May 2025 road trip from Sacramento to Orange County, the battery level on our EV showed only 15% left while we were still climbing the mountains. We didn't want to take a chance to go further south to the next Electrify America Station in Santa Clarita, so we decided to check out this ChartPoint station in the middle of nowhere. There were no other cars and we were delighted that the connection to our VinFast VF8 was quick and it accepted credit card payment without using an app. There's only one CCS 62kW port and it took 30 minutes to charge from 12% to 75%. We used the bathrooms in the Jack In The Box restaurant, although there are other restaurants and a gas station nearby. “It worked well with ChargePoint. Connected to my phone immediately and it's a safe and well lit spot, behind the Chevron and Jack in the Box. The connectors for newer technologies, shown in my photo are not online YET. When they are, it will do Chademo & CCS at 62KW/HR Two J connector chargers worked well, but just 6KW/HR Good to know it's here if you're in a pinch and can't make it to the Tesla Super Charger.
