What drivers have written
“Title: Convenient but Crowded: A Review of the Tesla Charging Station My recent visit to the Tesla charging station was a blend of convenience and minor setbacks. Upon arrival, the station was empty, which initially seemed promising. However, within a short span of about 10 minutes, the area filled up quickly, indicating its popularity among Tesla drivers. The location of the charging station is somewhat awkward and hidden, which might be challenging for first-time visitors. This aspect could benefit from better signage or more strategic placement to enhance accessibility and visibility. Another point of concern was the strict parking regulations surrounding the charging spots. The presence of signs warning against even waiting for a charging spot adds a layer of inconvenience, especially during busy times. The limited parking availability exacerbates this issue, making the charging experience potentially stressful during peak hours. Regarding the charging speed, although the station is advertised as a 250 KW charging facility, my experience was markedly different. Even when I was the only one using the station, the charging speed capped at around 56 kW. This discrepancy in charging speed, compared to what is advertised, could be a significant consideration for drivers with time constraints. In summary, while the Tesla charging station offers the essential service of recharging vehicles, its hidden location, strict parking enforcement, and unexpectedly lower charging speeds could dampen the overall user experience. It's a functional spot for Tesla owners, but be prepared for potential crowding and slower charging than anticipated.” — Nate, 2 years ago
“Hard to find, tucked in an establishment. Charging speed not optimal, advertised 250, only got 120 even with battery being pre conditioned. Only 8 spots with 2 broken at the time of charging.” — Nes Borne, a year ago
“This charger has one of the best rates after 2am. Not many times I had charged my Model 3 after 2am, but coincidentally I was close to this charger. There aren’t any convenience stores or restrooms near by. But Mc Donald’s is within walking distance. Canes is across the street. And Costa Vida is fairly close by. During daytime you will be facing the sun as you are looking to the west. Vehicle gets really hot: and likely you will be waiting for a few minutes. Overall no complaints or issues; just a good location, efficient charging stations, and secluded from the Fort Union.” — Juan Chumbiauca, 2 years ago
