“Convenient Tesla Supercharger stop in Ogallala, especially if you’re traveling along I-80. There are 8 Superchargers at this location. One nice thing about this stop is the pond right next to the charging area. There’s a path/area around it where you can take a short stroll and stretch your legs while the car charges. It was peaceful in the evening and made the charging stop much more pleasant. When I charged here on August 2, 2026, around 7:30 PM MT, the rate was $0.27/kWh. Pricing can of course change depending on the time/date. Overall, a convenient and relaxing charging stop in Ogallala. “8 plugs. Quick charge. Located directly behind the Americinn which is kind of shady and not well-lit at night. Not sure if it's a working hotel. “Quiet area off the highway, plenty of green space to walk around, shaded area. There is a playground that for sure will give your kids tetanus so be warned if you have a kid who will insist on playing in it if you see it! We had a nice picnic here in the shade while we charged then had room to throw a football around, dog found a snake.. very exciting stop to charge.
