“This charging station belongs to BLINK, which is a total ripoff. They charge $1/hr and it takes at least 4 hours to charge up a Ford C-Max ENERGI, which (fortunately) is a plug-in electric hybrid. Vehicles with a larger capacity battery pack would take considerably longer. At current electric rates in the Pacific NW (6 - 7 cents per KWH) a completely depleted battery pack would cost around 60 cents to charge at home, or 1/7th of what BLINK is demanding. You must apply for and get a plastic magnetic card from them to activate the station. Perhaps the convenience of a fast rate station that charges in 2.5 hours might be worth the rip on occasion, but it's actually cheaper to gas up at the local filling station than to pay BLINK.” — Amicus Curia, 12 years ago
