“The upside: the charger works, and you don't have to pay anything for the parking beyond the charging session itself. The downside: boy howdy, is that charging session _absurdly_ expensive! In addition to a $0.99 session fee, and energy at 50¢/kWh, which is already on the expensive side for Seattle, you have to pay 99¢ *per minute* for charging time after the first hour. I'll save you the math - that's $59.60 per hour, *plus* the energy cost that you're still paying. No, it's not an idle charge, either, to encourage you to unplug once your car's full - you'll still get dinged for it even if you're still pulling the station's full rated power. Given that this is only a 50kW charger - glacially slow by 2026 DCFC standards - an hour of charging isn't going to be enough to get you anywhere near charged, or even up to 80%. Bottom line: if you've got a quick errand in the area, or are desperately low on charge and can't make it anywhere else, consider charging here, but set a timer and don't be a single second late.
