“2-part review, both 2 stars... First, when you advertise up to 350 KW and you can only provide 60ish, that needs to be disclosed on the screen or something. Perhaps these chargers could potentially deliver this, but the infrastructure to power them that high is not there probably. I talked with another user who uses them all the time and he said that yes, the best you get there is 50-60 kw. He said "we're lucky to have them", so to him it's fine but when you've been on a long trip and you never had problems with any other chargers being well over 100 kw (btw, our car can pull 250 KW if it's available), it's pretty frustrating to see 58 kw on your screen! My charging session said that I hit 64 kw but I promise you, most of the time it was under 60 kw. Second, The app says to plug in first then select your charger. It failed at three different chargers, when I finally just called for help, the person helping me on the phone told me not to plug in first, told me to select my charger first, then select start charge and plug in the charger to my car. Wow, everywhere else you can just plug and hit start charging in any order! It was not a pleasant experience considering we were trying to get home and this was a huge delay and headache. I will never trust and Electrify America charger again for the speed it states it will deliver. And there's no way to know without reading reviews, so here's mine. Oh and by the way it was $0.56 a kilowatt hour, not cheap for slow "fast" charging! There actually was no wait at this charging station, however I selected 20 minutes or more because that's how much time I wasted getting it to work. Maybe if you're used to using the Electrify America app and you know how they work, you'll be fine at this station because there probably won't be a wait.” — Mike Keys, 4 months ago
